With each property in North, we have historically spent $45k+ on renovations to restore these houses to their original beauty. We have no interest in purposefully putting poor tenants into them that are going to destroy them and cause us (and our neighbors) issues.

We also like to see landlords with high standards as slumlords help no one (neither neighbors nor other investors/landlords).

Anybody who comes to my neighborhood and acts like a slumlord can expect their metaphorical decapitated head to be placed on a figurative pole.

If you send would-be landlords this-a-way, they better be ready for the high standards we are now imposing on landlords, and the harsh consequences we will send crashing down on slumlords.

I have attended a number of times as a real estate “newbie” and learned a lot.
