I am wondering if someone who went to this could give some input. I have 10 units in Mpls and this is the first year they are doing inspections. I already have 8 properties with Section 8 and those inspections are done annually and add a lot of cost to my properties. Now I wonder if I’m even going to be able to afford to keep rental properties in the City of Mpls. In addition, they drive around and send me violations if there are weeds in the yard or anything in my gutters…They do the inspection and give about 5 days to correct it before they do it and charge you…i usually get the letter after the deadline date and end up getting fined. Seems like a nice little income stream for the City.
