I would still do one. This is just total rent amount paid by tenant. It has nothing to do with your taxes and expenses.

What if your property isn’t really a retal unit BUT you did rent it out for 6 months? Do you still need to issue a CRP?
Also if you included all utilities in the rent can you deduct for the cost of those monthly utilities when filling out the CRP?

I believe it is a fine, not a late fee. I could be imposed by the state against the landlord. I have never heard of this happening, though.

If the landlord is late in providing the CRP form to the tenant who is entitled to the $100 late fee?
